Meet the Instructor

Welcome to my page! My name is Catherine Farr; students call me Captain Farr. In addition to being an instructor here at LycoCTC, I am also a part-time police officer. Prior to becoming an instructor in Criminal Justice, I worked as a Police Officer at the Pennsylvania College of Technology for almost seven years, a Sheriff’s Deputy for the Lycoming County Sheriff’s Office for about one year and for the Department of Corrections at SCI-Rockview for ten years. I have many years of experience in the field of Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice. My hopes are that I can share that knowledge with my students who are interested in a career in police, corrections or a related police science field.
