About Us
- The Lycoming Career and Technology Center is located on the East Lycoming School District campus in Hughesville, Pennsylvania. The school serves students from Benton, East Lycoming, Loyalsock, Montoursville, Muncy, and Warrior Run School Districts.
- LycoCTC is an independent LEA operated jointly and equally by the six member school districts.
- LycoCTC serves approximately 340 students who attend our programs part of the day while remaining in their high school for core academic classes and extra-curricular activities.
- The LycoCTC main building was opened in 2006. Previously there was no ‘school’ but instead a collection of programs spread throughout Lycoming County.
- Our vision is to be the leader in providing progressive and innovative learning experiences that empower the success of a global workforce.

NOCTI Exam

The NOCTI Exam is an end of program assessment that students must take at the completion of their third year of class, which consists of two parts a written exam and hands-on exam. The written exam consists of 150 construction related questions in carpentry, residential electricity, plumbing and masonry. The hands-on exam consists of five timed jobs that are graded by community volunteers with construction related backgrounds.
