Sharpening skills, one slice at a time—our Culinary PM students mastered knife technique on a rainbow of veggies!

21 of our students volunteered at the Sunny Day Camp at the Hughesville Fair Grounds! This one-day camp gives individuals with special needs a chance to experience all things law enforcement. Our Criminal Justice students assisted with registration and guest direction, and our Culinary team helped served a delicious lunch.

Today our welding students transitioned from theory to practice: a focused grinder safety review followed by a live demonstration from Mr. Guyer. The result — measurable skill growth and increased confidence; by lesson’s end each student will be proficient in grinding techniques. Investing in hands-on instruction prepares students for the workforce and strengthens technical pathways.

Congrats to our September Student of the Month—Blake! Blake is a senior at Loyalsock Township High School and a Criminal Justice student. We’re so proud of Blake’s dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence.

Curious how modern training keeps officers and students ready? Our Criminal Justice students worked on handgun skills today using the MILO system — scenario-based simulations that provide instant feedback and a safe learning environment.

Level 3 seniors in Pre Nursing & Health Science are learning to wrap and properly prepare medical instruments for sterilization in an autoclave.

Level 1 and Level 2 students wrapped up their Safety Unit by caring for their first “patient”! Students combined physical science and human science to design and build a safety enclosure, then put their designs to the test by simulating a patient fall.

Our Criminal Justice students practiced emergency drags to move patients safely and quickly. This skills session emphasized teamwork, proper technique, and staying calm under pressure.

Our Welding Technology students completed a hands-on ladder safety session today, covering ladder selection, pre-use inspections, three-point contact technique, and tool management while working at height.

New signs alert! Thanks to Mr. Anstadt and our Construction students, we’ve got fresh student & visitor parking signs around campus.

Mr. Hall guided a small group of students through diagnosing and repairing a Ford brought in for a cylinder misfire. This project combined diagnostic strategy, practical skills, and teamwork!
