Spray bottles + sidewalk stencils = BIG smiles! 🌿💦 Early Childhood & LycoTykes loved spraying water over leaf stencils today — sensory fun and outdoor creativity rolled into one.
In the field of Criminal Justice, students are trained to utilize different search patterns to effectively find evidence at crime scenes. Each method—be it grid, spiral, or zone—has its unique benefits in uncovering critical information.
A huge thank you to our business partner Ground Shaker for their generous donation to our Diesel Program! This donation will provide our students with valuable hands-on training using real world equipment while helping prepare the next generation of skilled workers. Partnerships like this make a lasting impact on our students and help strengthen our regional workforce!
Level 3 students are completing the unit on Medication Administration, where they learned to safely administer oral and injectable medications. They learned injection techniques by injecting simulated medication into an orange.
Ms. McCarty provided QPR Gatekeeper training to Pre-Nursing and Health Science students and additional students who wished to participate. A total of 95 students earned a certificate for engaging in the training. They learned about mental health and mental illness, “normal” stress responses, warning signs of someone in crisis who may be considering suicide, and how to help people connect to resources that can help.

Happy National Principals Month — and sincere thanks to the principals from our sending districts for their ongoing leadership and partnership. At our recent principals’ meeting, attendees experienced a brief instructional demonstration by one of our Early Childhood Education student teachers and an engaging activity led by a preschooler from LycoTykes.
