Today was pawsitively amazing! 🐾💖 Our LycoTykes preschool students met Milo, the incredible therapy dog! They learned how to approach and pet him safely, and were wowed by his cool tricks!

A student in Early Childhood brought in baby chickens for a real-life lesson on the life cycle of a chicken. The preschoolers were thrilled to hold the little chicks and learn all about their growth.

What an incredible day at the Liberty Arena Career Expo! Our Health Career students had the opportunity to explore various career pathways in the healthcare industry, both clinical and non-clinical. They connected with departments like Susquehanna Regional EMS, UPMC Rehabilitation Institute, and more. From learning CPR to reading EKGs and caring for individuals with trach tubes, the skills gained today are invaluable!

What a wonderful day at LycoCTC! Our Youth Development Task Force team read "Octopants" and "Arlo Draws an Octopus" to the LycoTykes preschoolers! A big thank you to Amber Newell, director of community impact at Lycoming County United Way, for partnering with us to provide a copy of "Octopants" for every child.

Additionally, they toured the Lewseum, which has recently been transformed to showcase an impressive array of memorabilia reflecting 92 years of "Big House" operations
