Students are learning to safely turn and reposition patients and move them to the head of the bed. This is an essential bedside nursing skill for patient safety and comfort.





Ms. Barlett visited all of our sending districts to lead a career-interest presentation where students completed a career interest survey, learned about Lyco’s program offerings, and heard firsthand testimonials from current Lyco students.

The LycoTykes preschoolers loved making, and wearing their adorable reindeer headbands! The Early Childhood student teachers did a wonderful job leading this fun lesson - such a joy to see everyone learning and creating together!


Bright‑and‑early holiday shoppers enjoyed a festive menu featuring a Cuban‑Skillet, Black‑Bean & Sweet Potato Hash, Tex‑Mex Shrimp & Grits, and a Nashville Hot Chicken Benedict. Our students did a tremendous job — the kitchen team cooked with heart and the front‑of‑house students welcomed and served guests beautifully.


One of our hardworking Criminal Justice students is pouring time and passion into this year’s yearbook — and it shows!

Hands-on training in progress: our construction program students have started building 4×4×5 ft cubicles, with upperclassmen scheduled to complete wiring, plumbing, and drywall. This layered project provides practical experience across framing, electrical, and mechanical systems—valuable for workforce readiness and technical competency.


Today’s lab: making a hospital bed without a patient. Students focused on proper technique, body mechanics, and infection control so every future patient rests safely and comfortably.

Today our students helped unload the delivery truck and organize the wood for upcoming projects. They practiced safe lifting, communication, and organization while getting hands-on experience with materials they’ll use in class.
